Book Smell or E-Book?

Choosing between traditional books and digital books is not only a technical preference, but also a matter of lifestyle. For some, the feeling of turning pages, inhaling the smell of a book and choosing a book from a library cannot be replaced by any technology. The weight of the book, the texture of its cover, and even the yellowed pages of old books carry a meaning.

On the other hand, with technological developments, e-books have also started to gain an important place in our lives. We can access thousands of books instantly with tablets, e-book readers or phones. E-books offer great convenience for easy reading, especially during travels, public transport or short breaks. At the same time, features such as night reading mode and font size adjustment personalize the reading experience.

However, the point to be noted here is: How much you read is more important than which format you read. E-books may be more practical; however, while some people complain about screen fatigue, printed books offer a healthier reading experience. Sometimes, even turning to physical books to escape digital fatigue can have a therapeutic effect.

In conclusion, both formats have their advantages. Today, most readers use both types together. It is possible to touch the books we love at home, on the library; to benefit from e-books outside, on the subway or during short breaks. Books change, but the passion for reading does not.
